@majorlinux just as we suspected, Google and Apple's push notifications are not secure. I know Jami uses open source push notifications unifiedpush and their own dht proxy https://jami.net/unifiedpush/
Does anyone know what signal uses?

@frechdachs @majorlinux even with APN/firebase there is no useful information except "there is a notification at this random hash"

@avron @frechdachs @majorlinux jami or matrix at least. APN is a bit different because you need to add the type of the notification, so at least if it's a VoIP notification or not.
